Company Settings

Module 1 — Lesson 4

Welcome to settings! Everyone’s favorite place to be.

Okay, fine… settings are pretty boring. But bear with me because getting this right is really important.

To start, go to ‘Settings → Company’. On this page, you can:

  • Create new publications (up to 3 on the scale plan)

  • Add team members

  • And delete your account

The first page you’ll be on is the “General” page. Here you can change your company name (although it doesn’t appear anywhere except for the page you’re currently on). And you can set your address to appear in any emails you send.

You can also delete your organization. This will delete all your publications and team members and make us very sad.

Moving along we have the publications page. I won’t go too in-depth into creating a new publication, but if you click “Add Publication” — this is what it’ll look like:

If you have a team of writers or want to collaborate with a friend, head over to the “Team” section and hit the “Invite More Members” button. A page will appear on the right that looks like this:

Here’s a quick video on how to create multiple publications:

Other Possible Use Cases

The cool thing about beehiiv company settings is you can:

  • Invite other people to help you write your newsletter (Morning Brew has a team of writers)

  • Have multiple publications (Jack Raines has a finance blog & a travel blog)

  • Be added to multiple publications (if you’re a newsletter ghostwriter/editor)

  • Create another publication to host your email course (Nathan Baugh & his Storywork email course)
