The only downside to writing a newsletter is… well, it can get kinda lonely. It’s you shouting from the top of the stage down at people.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

With polls, you can receive useful feedback from your audience to cater to what they want to read.

At the end of your newsletter — you can include a poll and have your readers vote for a specific answer. It’s extremely helpful to engage your newsletter readers and create a community vibe.

So here’s how you create your first poll:

  1. Go to the Audience tab → Polls → New Poll

  1. Create your poll

  1. Add your poll to your newsletter

  1. Bada bing bada boom!

Another smart way to use the poll feature is to have your readers pick your next topic.
